100 days that this challenge is already started ... 100 days, the grace period usually granted to an officer, the period after which it must, with respect to its employees (or its citizens in the policy framework), to make proven. After 100 days, the judgments are delivered and the entrenched positions of trust, collaboration, support or otherwise distrust, disengagement, sabotage.
These 100 days were very chaotic and it seems to me that if I was an observer, I find it hard to be confident in the success of this company.
Yet the predominant feeling for me, is mostly a waste of time: These 100 days were almost useless on a chart of accounts - less than 3% of the challenge made in 27% of the allotted time and I vegetate in a CG limit where he can not expect to generate significant profits.
Why did I wait so long to realize that the bad run in which I was not inevitable and that there was some cleaning up to do in my game for the GC and allow it to solidify better cope with adversity? The last important development in recent days, following a previous article, is the flop of overpairs play, I play less aggressively than before: I no longer try to get 3 streets of value but have learned to limit myself to 2 (typically on a dry board, I'll check the turn for pot control). Of course this must depend on the opponent (it would be a shame to miss the 3 streets against a calling station that will destacker with TP), but in the general case, check this turn is very beneficial: It avoids facing destacker the set, and we often pay the vBET river where the player could face a second left barrel.
For now, it bears fruit and the month of December is a nice grind as we would have liked to see him since day one. Of course, it's not going fast: € 271 in 8800 hands (5 days of play only) slightly better than the 6BB/100 ... I do not want to stop there: This morning I did a review on Holdem Manager on 2 situations today that cost me money. Following this analysis, I decided to introduce two new changes:
1) Fold the small pp in EP and MP (the first 2 positions). I know I already said once that I would do it but I've never put into practice (the attraction of the trips is too high). Yet the figures are clear: Whatever the period I my analysis, 22 to 77 are losers in this position, and so indisputable. So it decided, and I pledge to you: I now this folder 6 hands in early position.
2) Fold AK facing a 4-bet! Surely something I would have never thought to do one day. This goes totally against my religion that wants AK parte carpet PF consistently. But again, the figures are clear: AK facing a 4-bet cost me a fortune. QA for 1 or worse met from time to time, there are 2 QQ or JJ and still double AA / KK. Obviously, I allow myself here except the right to face Maniacs but my play will default to 5bet carpet Fold. I know it will be particularly difficult for me at first, but I am determined to subject myself to this discipline.
