Flashback ... August 14, 2010.

Challenge100K adventure has not started, although I have already written the first article and made plans to launch after the holidays. I have just 2 sessions catastrophic chain (€ -1,150 in less than 900 hands ...) who have just completed erasing the gains from rising in my NL200, 4 months ago.

I got into cash game nine months ago, starting in NL30 and have quickly risen limits thanks to criteria of aggressive bankroll management. So I finally reached the NL200 in early April. At first, the dream continues ("it's easy cash-game!"): After a month and 10k hands, I recorded more than 2600 € in prize money. And 20 days later, at 16K hands played, even if I lost again a little, I always point to the € 2200 limit.

And there is the drama! For the first time in my short career in CG online, my curve EV wins. I fall very rapidly to zero on the boundary (in the first days of June) but think being able to cope with badrun back and patiently to 1100 € (for an EV over 3000 €). It is August 11, and I lose again all about the two sessions.

I then take a decision: I'm clearly badrun, and loss of trust and results for over two months, why not go to rebuild the health NL100 I crush easily, without waiting to be started to record losses on the NL200? Oh, it will not take long, just long enough to quickly regain 20 small wineries and come back in 200, do not mess about, eh ...

The rest you know: 3 months later, Challenge100K hit bottom, and has fallen back to € 4000 NL100 and NL50 ...

must say it was hard to start better. 1st Session of the month, 11th NL200 hand on the table: "In NL200 too is easy, poker!"



And overall, although I'm defaulting corner flips right now on the boundary as shown in the all-in EV (I knew I should have refusing to shake hands with Fred Marrakech:)) I'm not too much to complain about the side set-ups ...
